LimitState director to present at ICE Bridges conference

On 5th June LimitState Director Prof. Matthew Gilbert will make a presentation at the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Bridges Conference, to be held at the ICE HQ in Westminster, London.

Entitled "Ultimate and permissible limit state behaviour of masonry arch bridges", his presentation will describe initial findings from recent research considering both ultimate and service loading scenarios, and implications for bridge assessment. It is anticipated that the research work described will feed into the LimitState:RING masonry arch bridge analysis software, widely used by engineers in the UK and overseas.
