DLO and LimitState:GEO to be presented in Belgium

On 27th June 2011, Drs Colin Smith and Matthew Gilbert will be giving a presentation on the Discontinuity Layout Optimization (DLO) limit analysis procedure (as used in LimitState:GEO) at an evening meeting at the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium. The evening will also see a presentation by Professor Dov Leshchinsky, of the University of Delaware, where he will describe how the diagnostic Safety Map (SM) tool can be used to design reinforced slopes and walls.
