Reinforced Soil Analysis

LimitState:GEO models reinforcement and soil interaction in a fully general way, using the same familiar principles used in conventional methods such as the ‘tie-back wedge’ approach, but effectively allowing thousands of wedges to be modelled simultaneously.

Whether the model includes 1D elements, such as nails and anchors, or 2D features like geotextiles, LimitState:GEO will quickly and automatically determine the critical mode of failure and associated factor of safety without the need to separately consider internal or external failure, pullout length, rupture etc.
