LimitState:GEO is the ideal tool for foundation analysis and design. Built-in wizards allow rapid definition and analysis of standard foundation types, while the software provides the flexibility to model any foundation geometry, fill geometry and load definition, allowing more complex structures to be investigated. Problem features such as surcharge loading, layered soils and nearby trench excavations can all be considered with ease.
The state-of-the-art Discontinuity Layout Optimization (DLO) solver engine automatically finds the critical mode of failure, allowing rapid analysis of without the need to specify the failure mode in advance. Slip-line singularities and fan-zones, often a problem in Finite Element Analysis based software, are identified and treated without difficulty.
